The new Kia Soul might still look the same but the car is indeed completely new: growing a bit larger, getting more refined, and becoming more sophisticated. Kia is offering an Idle Stop-and-Go system which is akin to a start/stop system. This helps raise MPG levels to 24 MPG in the City and 31 MPG on the highway.As part of the redesign for 2014, Kia has made the interior of the Soul larger. There is 18 ft of cargo room in the hatch and that figure grows to 45 cubic feet of storage with the rear seats folded down. The passengers though will have plenty of room in both the back and front seats. The model tested here was equipped with "The Whole Shabang Package" which includes a 10-way adjustable driver seat, heated seats, push button start and more.The Kia Soul first debuted in 2008 and now for 2014 we have a redesigned second generation car to test.
