2016 Kia Soul EV Test Drive Video Review – 93 Mile Range Electric Vehicle

This mix between a crossover, micro van, and electric car is the perfect example of a relatively affordable ($31,950) EV. The first thing that gives the Soul EV away is the amount of aerodynamic upgrades this car has over the regular gas powered Soul model. The grille and bumper areas have been closed off to maximize air flow since the Soul EV does not need a radiator.

Under the hood is an electric motor that makes 109 horsepower and 210 lb-ft. of torque. Range is an EPA rated best-in-class 93 miles. The MPGe rating is a combined 120 miles. A great feature is that the Soul EV uses the satellite based traffic system to tell you of nearby charging stations.

If you want something with good room that looks and drives like a normal car than the Kia Soul EV is for you.
