Yiorgos co-hosted the Erasmus+ project “Sustrares” organised by Iliosporoi Network and the Stagones Collective in Vlahia, on the Greek island of Euboea. The experience taught him about resilience and self-sufficiency, community building and organising, and through it, he helped to create a network to share good practices. Today, he works in two projects: AccessToLand, which provides tools and support for people who want to work in land and agriculture, and the Forum-Synergies’ 2017 ERSG international gathering, which will respond to the rural crisis in Europe by presenting positive examples of initiatives that promote sustainability and locality.
