This bowl of traditional Chinese herbal soup is not for the ordinary folks to stomach. This video takes you to a stall that has been a landmark here for over 40 years serving only one specialty: pig innards soup. Yes, the stout chef that you see busy here is the owner and he has "inherited" this family business since he was 20 ! His special soup is made in a giant kuali filled with secret herbs and lots of pig innards. You can find pig intestines, stomach, kidney, and blood curds too.
The stall owner assures you that the innards are all thoroughly cleaned and properly prepared so that there is no "piggy" odour when you consume them. If you want more meaty stuff you can add pork meat like those they serve in bak kut teh stalls. The soup is served with either rice or porridge with a dash of spring onions, salted vegetables and other ingredients  too. The bowl is big enough for a hearty big meal. Priced ranging from RM9 per bowl of soup. Don't just watch this video, have a go at this great pig innards soup that is not easily or commonly found nowadays in the city.
