One of the thoroughfares of KL’s popular Jalan Pudu is the wet market right on the road. Under dozens of multi coloured canopies you will find a myriad of goods, and services, that the folks here seem to need daily. Yes, it happens to be opened everyday. The crowd gathers early to catch the best and freshest of goods. Ranging from live crabs, greens, chicken, meat , fish to dried cooking essentials and ingredients. The customers are of all races ,mostly elderly folks from around the area, and a mix of migrant workers. As in many city street markets, this one echoes with all kinds local chatter as well as constant sales calls to attract customers. The traders are multi-racial indeed and this adds to the local flavour of this unique mix in a modern city, just few kilometres from the Twin Towers.
