Mukta Dutta Tomar, india's Ambassador to Germany, joined DW's Amrita Cheema in the studio to discuss the ongoing Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan. Pakistan has freed an Indian pilot captured when his plane was shot down over Pakistan administered Kashmir. His release came after hours of delay fuelling speculation about his release. The cause of the delay is not known. Pakistan says the release of the pilot who was captured on Tuesday is an effort to de-escalate recent tensions between the two nuclear armed neighbours.
