Cyclone Fani has battered India's eastern coastline in the state of Odisha with winds blowing at more than 200 kilometers an hour. It's one of the biggest storms to hit the region in decades, claiming several lives so far, with more deaths expected. India Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed plans to visit Odisha in the coming days. The cyclone is also causing widespread disruption in Bangladesh, where more than two million people have been moved to safety, but appears not to present a major threat in the state of Bengal.
