In Bangladesh, observers have raised fears over the future of democracy following widespread allegations that the country's national elections were rigged. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's ruling Awami League took an unprecedented 98 percent of seats in the vote. Hasina denies claims that the vote was fixed, saying people came out in droves to support her party. Opposition parties, led by Dr. Kamal Hossein, have called for fresh elections. The country's election commission has rejected those demands. DW's Nimisha Jaiswal reports from Dhaka.
