In Bangladesh, 18-year-old Nusrat Jahan Rafi was burned alive on the roof of her Islamic seminary, or madrassa, after she refused to drop her complaint of sexual harassment against her school. She later died of her injuries. The case has sent shockwaves through Bangladesh and triggered nationwide protests. It has now forced the government to implement a court order that requires the setting up of committees in schools to prevent sexual harassment. But this comes too late for Nusrat and those she left behind. DW travelled to her home village of Sonagazi in the district of Feni - and met those whose lives have changed forever by Nusrat's murder.
