RAM has a new truck for 2019 and our favorite version is the Rebel. The Rebel is a rugged 4x4 truck packed with off-road goodies that is great for average person who wants to take their full-sized truck off-road. The 2019 RAM Rebel 4x4 quad cab starts at $44,795. The front exterior of the Rebel screams aggressive with a mean looking snout, vented hood, steel skid plate, and exposed tow hooks. The Rebel tires are huge Goodyear Wranglers sized 275/70/18 mounted on sharp looking wheels.

The upgraded off-road parts consist of a locking rear differential, increased ground clearance, integrated skid plates, active air-suspension, Bilstein shocks with remote reservoir, and hill descent control.

The standard engine is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 that comes with the e-Torque system. The Rebel tested here has been upgraded with the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 that makes 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft. of torque. Add the e-Torque mild hybrid system and you will see an extra boost of 130 lb-ft. of torque when necessary.

The cabin takes the excellent interior of the Ram 1500 truck and toughens it up a bit with special seats, toggle switches, and great touches. The new Ram Rebel comes with either a crew cab or smaller quad cab.

If you want a weekend basher cruiser truck then the 2019 RAM Rebel is a great choice.
