2019 marks the debut of the second-generation Audi A7 four-door sedan with its coupe-like swooping roofline. Let’s see how this new generation car stacks up against the previous model. Pricing for the base 3.0T Premium starts at $68,000 and tops out at $76,300 for the Prestige trim seen here.

Styling wise here is a lot going on with this new 2019 A7. Up front the full LED headlights look great and offer excellent visibility at night. The front grille is packed with tons of technology including: radar cruise control, parking sensors, and a front facing camera. Looking at the car from the side; the big take-a-away is the swooping aggressive roof-line. Out back there is an automatic spoiler that deploys at speed.

Under the hood the only engine available for North America is a 3.0 liter turbocharged V-6 engine that makes 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Fuel economy is 22 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway.

Inside, the cabin of the 2019 Audi A7 is a very luxurious place to spend time. The Audi MMI system that powers the infotainment is very slick and looks gorgeous. Audi’s virtual cockpit is a full digital display for the driver. Being a large sedan is should come as no surprise there is a large amount of legroom in the rear row. Additionally, there is a four-zone climate control for the rear passengers.
