The Blazer nameplate is revived for the 2019 model year. Can the new Blazer live up to the name and tough SUV you remember? Under the skin you will find a GMC Acadia or Cadillac XT5 but in the outside you have a pumped-up Camaro. The new 2019 Chevrolet Balzer is a stylish machine; upfront the design is Camaro inspired. The Premier model seen here isn’t even the most angry and aggressive version. That title belongs to the RS trim. Under the hood there are 2 engine options. The base engine is a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder that should be forgotten. The engine you want is the 3.6 liter V-6 that makes 308 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. Both engines are backed up by a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Just as the outside is very Camaro’esque; the interior is more of the same feel. The steering wheel, air vents, and infotainment look like they are lifted from the Camaro.
