There are 3 different models: a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and full electric. The model seen here is the Ioniq Hybrid which ranges in price from $22,200 to $27,500.

Right off the bat there is nothing terribly exciting about the design but the low coefficient of drag helps to cut through the air and increase fuel economy. Under the hood is a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder that makes 104 horsepower and 109 lb-ft. of torque. The engine is paired with a 32 kw electric motor that pushes HP to 139. The transmission is a 6-speed dual clutch unit. The battery is a 1.6 kw/h battery pack. Fuel economy is 55 MPG in the city and 54 MPG on the highway.
