The US-China trade war escalated over the weekend with each side sticking fresh tariffs on the other's exports - with no clear resolution of their trade dispute in sight. In October, the US is planning to increase the current level from 25% to 30% on some $250 billion worth of Chinese exports. And in December, the US has said it is also planning to impose a 15% tariff on a separate group of Chinese goods, targeting cellphones, laptops and clothes. If the December duties go into effect, it would mean virtually all "Made in China" products will be subject to tariffs in the US.
