Intermediate Yoga Backbends: In this video we\'ll work on Ustrasana (Camel Pose) and focus on the ability to stabilize our scapulas, which is really important in our backbend practice. When the scapulas are stable it allows more of the backbend to come from the thoracic spine verses relying on the lumbar spine for movement.

In this practice we will go through the following poses as we work our way towards Ustrasana (Camel Pose):
a. Spinal Twist on our back
b. Ardha Virasana
c. Arms behind back with a strap around your arms
d. Jump shins forward to meet the hands
e. Ustrasana with hands on back
f. Ustrasana with hands on heels
g. Rabbit pose
