Ian Jorgensen, known as Blink within the music industry, is the creator of one of Wellington's most respected, prestigious and iconic events. Known around the world, Camp A Low Hum was a yearly sell-out music festival held near Wellington from 2007-2014. Listed as one of only five unmissable music festivals in Australasia and ranked as one of MTV's top ten music festivals in the World, the ambitious festival gained a worldwide reputation for its curation, which according to our research, is unique in that it open its gates without ever announcing its line-up or doing any advertising.

Ian talks candidly about the New Zealand drinking culture and the tips that we may want to take from our American fellows when it comes to the drinking culture. Also, as the owner of a few well-known Wellington bars, he lightheartedly comments on the exuberant prices of craft beer.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
