Suzanne Snively is a business leader, economist, and the 2013 Wellingtonian of the Year. In 2005, Suzanne was awarded an ONZM for services to women and business, including her groundbreaking economic study of the cost of domestic violence in New Zealand.

As the director of Transparency International New Zealand, Suzanne's talk is about the need for integrity systems which leads to more rewarding lives for people and highlighting New Zealand currently as the least corrupt public sector in the world.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
