African Union mediators say Sudan's ruling military council and opposition leaders have reached a power-sharing agreement. Under the deal, a half-civilian, half-military council will rule the country for the next three years. Protests have roiled Sudan since the ousting of longtime president Omar al-Bashir in April. Opposition leaders say the new deal is a victory for their movement.
