In Hakka  " Zhū Tóu Pí " 猪头皮
literally means pig head skin. Nowadays  this traditional serving is seldom available and the older generation loves it ! However, the younger generation may not like its fatty qualities. This is a dish found in Fatt Kee shop in the heart of Serdang's market.
Manaweblife met Ah Leong, the 2nd generation, 55 year old proprietor of this 5 decade old noodle shop. His Fatt Kee shop is a favourite pit stop for the older generations to catch the slow pace of the scenes as they sip a cuppa and enjoy an early brunch. Hakka Ah Leong's authentic kopitiam feel has its fans, including a grandma who witnessed his birth ! His customers come for his "kaw kaw" concentrated  cup of Milo prudly prepared by himself. Of course, if you prefer something more down to earth than the "Zhū Tóu Pí" noodles there are the chicken feet noodles, beef noodles and wanton noodles too. Whatever your choice you will be mesmerized by the atmosphere and slow motion life amongst the customers. Welcome back to the future !
