Once upon a time the cottage bra-making industry in new villages like Serdang was a booming trade. Nowadays it is a disappearing trade that only a few still want to pursue. This video visits a decade old bra-making cottage industry in Serdang, one of the few around,  that still has a thriving loyal list of customers and that needs no branding or advertising.
 
Indeed, the business is owned by an octogenarian Madam Chong , who started this business with a very small capital and now has a team of full-time and part-time workers to help her make the bras. Even at her age, she can still make the products from start to finish by herself. She can customise to customer's needs too with perfect-fitting size, material and design.
