Voters across Nigeria are finally heading to the polls after the election was postponed for one week to address logistical problems. A series of explosions have been reported from the troubled northeastern city of Maiduguri. Insurgents from the Islamist terror organization Boko Haram threatened to disrupt the election there, but the cause of the blasts remains unclear. Meanwhile, in Lagos, people have queued up peacefully and patiently in long lines as logistical problems continue to plague the process.
