Injured Eagle Owl, named 'Giant', is finally being released back into the wild by wildlife rescue team. Owls are usually prosecuted for bringing ‘bad luck’ by people in Africa. Today, we are following Dr. Alma to set this injured eagle owl free after 8 months of intensitive care in Malawi Rescue Center.
The team at the Lilongwe Wildlife Trust in Southeast Africa is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating injured and orphaned wild animals, ensuring they get back into the wild where they belong. Malawi is one of the poorest countries in Africa and resources are scarce, so the team has to make do and improvise with veterinary medicine. Power cuts are common, the rainy season inundates the center, but work must go on. If you enjoy this video, please comment below to let us know!
