The pride has been attacked by the nomad males overnight, but most of them have made it out fine...save for one of the cubs, who is badly bitten. As his family wakes up, he's hiding in the bushes, as injured lions are known to do. As some time passes, the rest of the pride wonders what's wrong. The cub eventually has a seizure, and dies of his injuries. The pride mourns his loss together.
