The long rainy season is over, and lions are gathering along the Luangwa River, the lifeline of this wilderness in Eastern Zambia. Nathan and Sam arrive in the valley not knowing what they will find. We meet the MK pride, as they hunt a buffalo. They have dominated the land south of the river for as long as Nathan has been filming here. A powerful family of 17 lions, headed up by two brothers known as the Punks. But the Punks are getting old and their best days are in the past. With 6 youngsters to protect, and 9 females to defend, can the aging Punks hold onto their southern territory for another season?
