The Mwamba pride rule a large territory in Zambia's Luangwa Valley. The lions survey their meal options during tthe day, but do their best hunting at night. They easily hunt down an impala and feast. After a warthog escapes them the next morning, the lionesses surround a young bull buffalo. The bull manages to take refuge in a lagoon, and the lions cannot follow him without getting trapped in the mud.
