Julz discovers lions in Manzi territory. They are the number one predator of wild dogs and he is worried for the pack’s safety. But they’ve killed a young giraffe and the Manzi family are safe. Julz spots a leopard cub hiding in the thicket, before discovering the cub’s mother. The Manzi have stolen her kill and are feeding on it. As the leopard closes in to reclaim its kill, one of the adult dogs, lingers too long over the carcass. At the last minute he strolls away to rejoin the pack, never knowing the close call he just had.
