African leopards share their territories with plenty of other wildlife. Wild dogs compete with them for prey and will always chase them. A troop of baboons will raise the alarm as soon as they spot a leopard, or smell one. And in numbers, an angry mob of baboons can pose a serious threat – their canine teeth are longer than a lion’s. And hyenas are the bane of their life, stealing their hard-won kill.
