Patrick Pawletko is a senior at Purdue University graduating in May 2014 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Since 2010, Patrick has led an interdisciplinary team of graduate and undergraduate students in the collaborative development of a locally sourced, locally fabricated micro-hydropower facility in the rural community of Bangang, Cameroon. His on-campus involvement includes representing both the Global Engineering Program and the Office of Global Affairs as a student ambassador, and aiding the Global Engineering Cultures and Practice Learning Community. Patrick plans to pursue a career in international development upon graduation from Purdue.
