Holly is a recent graduate from Purdue with an entrepreneurial-minded outlook. She's been featured in publications such as the Wall Street Journal and Yahoo! Finance for her concept of eliminating retail packaging waste, and was named one of five student finalists in the College category for the "Entrepreneur of 2013″ contest presented by Entrepreneur Magazine. While at Purdue, Holly has undertaken initiatives within the College of Technology, where she worked with the Dean & Director of Sustainability to "re-green" the college. She has held sustainability, engineering, and marketing roles within a handful of Fortune 50 companies, and most recently, has taken a leap of faith and "dared greatly" to partner with her entrepreneurial peers in creating a movement through the vehicle of helping lead a number of globally-recognized ventures.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
