Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina secured a third consecutive term after a landslide victory in the country's general election. The election commission says Hasina's coalition won 288 of 300 seats in parliament. But the election was tarnished by violence and accusations of vote rigging and voter suppression that began long before the election was held. Opposition leader Kamal Hossain called for new elections. Both the ruling Awami League and the opposition BNP reported attacks on supporters and candidates., but how legitimate are the complaints of the opposition? DW's Nimisha Jaiswal reports from Dhaka.
