Volkswagen is making a big bet here in the Unites States, and they are doing so with the introduction of the all new Atlas model. This is the biggest car sold here in North America by Volkswagen; but does it deliver on its big size with big rewards?

Prices range from $30,750 for the base 2.0 S trim up to $48,740 for the SEL Premium AWD as seen here. Under the hood there are 2 engine choices. The base engine is a 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of torque. Opt for the larger engine and you get a 3.6 liter V-6 that makes 276 horsepower and 266 lb-ft. of torque. The inside of the cabin is typical Volkswagen just more upscale.
