BMW presents a fully revised Seventh Generation 5-Series for the 2017 model year. The updated 5-Series is a positively splendid car in every respect. The 54i with xDrive (AWD) model seen here has a base price of $58,750 but with all the options in the book the as-tested-price swelled to over $80k!

Under the hood is a Twin-Power turbocharged 3.0 liter 6-cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Power output is 335 horsepower and 332 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is 20 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway but you can expect to exceed those ratings thanks to BMW Efficient Dynamics which includes: regenerative braking, ECO-pro mode, auto start stop, and a coasting function.
