Overall the Altima is a sleek car with some interesting style points but at the end of the day it still looks similar to other cars in this category. The engine is a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder that makes 182 horsepower and the CVT combines to get 27 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway. On the inside the Altima may be at the top of the list when it comes to comfort.
If you are the type of person who just wants something cheap, roomy, and reliable to go back-and-forth to work then the Altima is the perfect car. As a bonus the Altima has excellent crash scores.
