2015 BMW X4 xDrive35i Test Drive Video Review

BMW calls the X4 a sports activity coupe and is similar in design to the X6. The 2015 BMW X4 is an all-new model riding on the same chassis as the X3 but the styling is much more sleek thanks to the fastback design. The BMW X4 comes in 2 different trims: the xDrive28i and the xDrive35i. The model tested here is the xDrive35i which has a 3.0 liter 6-cylinder turbocharged engine that makes 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft. of torque. The 8-speed automatic transmission helps this luxury crossover achieve 19 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway.
The base price for the 2015 BMW X4 xDrive35i is $48,000 but the tester model was equipped with the M-Sport Package ($1900), the Driver Assistance Package ($700), the Lighting Package ($1900), the Premium Package ($2200), and the Technology Package ($3150); bringing the grand total to $61,350. So why would you choose a crossover like the X3 or X4 over a conventional wagon? You are doing so because you value ride height.
