This is not an ordinary Tiguan, this is the TDI model which is currently not for sale in the U.S. This diesel powered crossover was brought over to gauge feedback from auto journalists which means that Volkswagen is thinking about releasing this model here. Under the hood lives the 2.0 liter turbo diesel which is related to the current TDI engine found in the Jetta and Golf.
