The model tested here is the top of the line Titanium trim equipped with the optional 2.0 EcoBoost engine and AWD. With all the bells and whistles the as-tested price exceeds $35k. The Escape does start at $23,100 for the base S model. Ford allows you to spec an Escape from a bare bones model all the way up to a near luxury optioned crossover.

Under the hood is a 2.0 turbocharged EcoBoost engine that makes 230 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque.
