2015 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Fastback Test Drive Video Review

50 years is a long time for an automobile model to have survived, and the Mustang has more than thrived over the last 5 decades. Now we get the sixth generation which has been totally redesigned for the 2015 model year. The new design language was inspired by the EVOS concept that debuted a few years back. The lines are more swept back and aerodynamic that you did not get on the pat few models which were more retro themed. The biggest news of all is the addition of an independent rear suspension.
The Mustang has to be a vehicle that appeals to a broad range of car buyers. The base models need to be cheap enough for entry level car buyers, but there also has to be some potent high performance models to appeal to the muscle car enthusiasts, and everyone in between. Under the hood of this GT is a Coyote 5.0 liter V-8 engine that makes 435 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.
This premium model adds SYNC with MyFord Touch, pony projection lights, and a Shaker 9-speaker stereo. Pricing for the GT Premium Fastback starts at $36,300.
