In Zimbabwe, police clashed with anti-government protestors in the capital, Harare. Opposition supporters took to the streets despite a police ban on the protest - which was upheld by Zimbabwe's High Court. Police fired tear gas and used water canons to disperse the demonstrators. Around 80 people were arrested and several were beaten by police. The protest was originally organized by Zimbabwe's opposition Movement for Democratic Change, who accuse the Zanu PF government of corruption and mismanaging the country's struggling economy.
