In Lebanon, clashes between protesters and police over the weekend left hundreds injured. Largely peaceful anti-government protests broke out three months ago, with protesters demanding an overhaul of the country's political system and a solution to its economic crisis. But in recent days, the unrest has intensified. Over the weekend, police were seen firing tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the demonstrators.
