Let’s take a look at 5 of the most interesting Crossover vehicles and SUVs on the Chicago Auto Show floor.
5) Ford Police Interceptor – This is a fleet vehicle only and if you want to ride in one you either need to have a badge or commit a crime. The Police Interceptor is based on the Explorer which means you can get EcoBoost power.
4) Mitsubishi GC-PHEV Concept – This concept is a bit of a surprise here at the Chicago Auto Show. It’s a hybrid combining a V-6 engine and en electric motor. Really though, the GC-PHEV is meant to showcase some new styling design elements.
3) Kia Trailster Concept – The Kia Trailster is a concept in name only and we should see something very close to this on the market sometime in the near future. This concept comes with a hybrid drivetrain and All-Wheel Drive.
2) Nissan Murano – The 2016 Nissan Murano has benefitted from a facelift which includes the aggressive styling seen on the other Crossovers and SUVs in the Nissan line-up.
1) Honda Pilot – We have been waiting for the 2016 Honda Pilot for a long time. Under the hood is an Earth Dreams V-6 that is both more efficient and more powerful than the last 3.5 liter.
