In the battle for the Memorial Day Weekend box office, it looks like the debut of Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland starring George Clooney and Brit Robertson barely beat last week’s box office winner Pitch Perfect 2 with 32.9 million to 30.8 million respectively.  In third place was critical favorite Mad Max Fury Road with 24.8 million, followed by 4th place for the Poltergeist remake which made 22.6 million. Marvel’s Avengers Age of Ultron held strong in the fifth spot with 21.6 million in its 4th week.
