Barry Moses, an Adult Basic Ed Instructor at SCC, is racing against the clock to preserve his Spokane tribe's Salish language. A poet, performer, photographer and amateur historian, Barry recently found Chief Garry's original name, Slough-Keetcha, and is intent on capturing the previous generations' knowledge before the keepers of his people's stories die off. In his blog , Barry documents his efforts to keep his connection to the past alive.
