India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared on the television survival programme 'Man vs Wild' with British adventurer and survival expert Bear Grylls. Filmed in a wildlife sanctuary in northern India, Modi learnt how to make a spear out of a knife, what elephant dung smells like and also how to cross a freezing river on a flimsy raft. Indian audiences had very mixed reactions to Modi's Bear Grylls debut.
