In China's Xinjiang province, visitors get an idyllic picture of life for the largely Muslim Uighur community. But critics accuse China of locking up to a million Uighurs in sprawling detention camps under reportedly harsh and dangerous conditions. The country says the purpose of the facilities is 're-educating' Uighurs and other members of Muslim minorities in Xinjiang. Some countries have expressed support for China's moves. Some of these countries include North Korea, Saudi Arabia and Myanmar.
