Democracy activists in Hong Kong are refusing to give in to pressure from authorities and from Beijing. Demonstrators have begun marches in two Hong Kong neighborhoods. They are also staging a sit-in at Hong Kong's airport in an aim to reach tourists from mainland China. Activists occupied the arrivals hall and distributed flyers to tourists and other passengers. Police warned against violence or disruptions that could endanger public safety. But reports suggest the airport appears to be operating normally.
