'Islam belongs to Germany' - for many it's a controversial assertion, although the country is home to almost 5 million Muslims. The German Islam Conference aims to debate the role Islam should play in German society. It's the fourth conference since 2006, and this time organizers say they've invited liberal theologians and scientists after criticism past events promoted forms of Islam that are too conservative.
