The 2018 Nissan Kicks makes a great vehicle for first-time drivers, empty-nesters, and young couples thanks to its very affordable price.

The Nissan Juke is dead despite the fact that crossovers are a very hot segment at the moment. Nissan needs to fill the compact crossover hole in their line up and the all-new 2018 Kicks looks to do just that. The now defunct Juke had a very stylized design and Nissan looked to soften that up a bit with the new Kicks. The exterior has been toned down and looks more mature. There are multiple color and contrasting roof options, so you can create a visually appealing vehicle.

A compact crossover gets a compact engine. Under the hood is a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 125 horsepower and 115 lb-ft. of torque. The CVT transmission paired with the small engine allow the Kicks to get 31 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway.

Nissan did a good job at making the interior feel more premium than is should be on such an affordable car. First impression on the interior is that the seats are very cushy and comfortable. The materials are soft and the infotainment screen is good.
