BABY BORN WITH MERMAID TAIL - real or fake?

In this video we’re taking a look at another video that claims to show a baby that was born with a mermaid tail. You’re going to be surprised by the results. We’re also looking at cow that is able to run faster than a race horse, a dog that looks like a loaf of bread, a photo that seems to show two butterflies doing a flamenco dance together, and a picture showing what your body looks like after it is struck by lightening.

Sirenomelia, alternatively known as Mermaid Syndrome, is a rare congenital deformity in which the legs are fused together, giving them the appearance of a mermaid's tail as the nickname suggests.
This condition is found in approximately one out of every 100,000 live births (about as rare as conjoined twins) and is usually fatal within a day or two of birth because of complications associated with abnormal kidney and urinary bladder development and function. More than half the cases of sirenomelia result in stillbirth and this condition is 100 times more likely to occur in identical twins than in single births or fraternal twins.[2] It results from a failure of normal vascular supply from the lower aorta in utero.[citation needed] Maternal diabetes has been associated with caudal regression syndrome and sirenomelia,[3] although a few sources question this association.
VACTERL-H is an expanded form of the VACTERL association that concludes that this diagnosis is a less severe form of sirenomelia. The disorder was formerly thought to be an extreme case of caudal regression syndrome; however, it was reclassified to be considered a separate condition.

Hey guys Bill here…you know, I get a lot of mermaid submissions, and for the most part they are always like so fak it’s funny. But then one comes along that kinda stops you in your tracks and makes you go huh?
 
That’s what happened when I received this video. It was sent in by Cade Davies,   Jamal Sahin and david prado just to name a few.
 
They all wanted to know, “Bill, is it possible that this could be a true?”
 
A quick look around the internet revealed there is no shortage of postings about baby mermaids and the like, like this one called live mermaid creature found on the beach. It didn’t even look like a mermaid.  Then there is this one. Now I know it’s not a baby, but I bring it up because it’sI the only one I know of where the mermaid is made from trash bags….
 
And then there is this one, it is a baby mermaid but it is part of a doll line called Baby Mine and this video is a box opening.
 
It took a little while, but I finally found my way to the video in question. It is indeed called Baby Born With Mermaid Legs. It was first posted by Interesting Facts and shows a doctor holding up a baby with what looks like a mermaid tail.
 
On first look, the thumbnail looks seriously photoshopped. That’s pretty obvious. But in the video, we are not examining the thumbnail, we’re more concerned with the video itself.  
 
As you can see here, the photos in the video are much more realistic. They clearly show a real human child with a lower half resembling that of a Mermaid.
