AMC Mail Bag - AVENGERS 2 Ant-Man Presence, How To Reboot GREMILS

Zombie Wolfe writes: Greetings AMC Movie News. Now that the Akira movie is happening, do you think studios will look to turn other animes into live-action movies. I personally think Princess Mononoke would make an amazing live-action movie. And I don't see any drawbacks in this idea, considering the anime was both a critical and financial success. What do you think?

Chris Price writes: Greetings and Salutations Movie Talkers! I just discovered your show about 3 months ago, and gotta say it made me an instant fan! Keep up the good work! Now for my question. There has been a lot of talk lately about Kick-Ass 2 director Jeff Wadlow's adaptation of The "X-Force". If you dont know, The X-force is a strike team who handles the missions that may be too dark for the X-men to handle. X-forces roster has included characters such as Wolverine, Deadpool, Colossus, Cable, and many more. In the movie adaptation, Do you think they should include Hugh Jackman's Wolverine? I personally think it would add a lot of validity to the film. Also, would this be a good chance to capitalize on a Ryan Reynolds Deadpool? Or should they have a completely new cast?

Dominic Hewitt writes: Dominic Hewitt, Hello AMC team. Movie talk is definitely the most interesting and informative movie show on YouTube keep up the good work, 300 rise of an empire was pushed back to 2014, in your opinion why did this happen? Does it mean trouble for the movie? Thanks.

Lakaiff writes: Hey guys love the show and keep up the great work, you too john!!! My question is to why do you guys think the transformers franchise was brought into the big screen introducing new characters instead of some of the old ones from the TV shows and comic books?

Matthew Gaastra writes: Hi. Love your show. With the gremlins reboot in the works do you think they will CGI the gremlins or will they use puppets? What do you guys think?

John Carrington writes: The show is great you all do a fantastic job. So we know that Wheaton has said that Hank Pim/Ant Man will not be making an appearance in the next Avengers movie but who's to say that he will not have a presence. It is being assumed that a corrupted J.A.R.V.I.S is going to be Ultron and who's to say that Pim didn't have a hand in creating "him". We know from the end of the Avengers and Iron Man 3 that Stark does sometimes work well with others (Banner). What do you think?

Mallory Wang writes: Hi!! Love the show! John, let me be your apprentice! So I was listening to an old MailBag you did at ComicCon where you said Unicron wouldn't work because the Autobots can't fight Unicron directly. Isn't that the same idea with Sauron? The fellowship didn't really fight Sauron directly but rather through his army of Orcs and that worked pretty well. Can't Unicron work like that?
