Number 5. The New York Times promoted an article in Sunday's upcoming edition about new advances in the search for a cancer cure. They felt that new work in the field made chances of finding one promising. Even though the survival rates are better, unfortunately, that cure remains elusive even 100 years later.

Number 4. Not only did somebody rave about a school lunch, that somebody was Col. Theodore Roosevelt. He was so impressed by the quality of the 2-cent lunch he had at one locale, he championed the cause to make the type of meal available to all school children.

Number 3. A horse went nuts, biting just about everyone and everything around him. After it escaped and caused havoc on the streets several men were able to contain it. Cars may cause similar levels of damage, but they do tend stop when they hit large objects.
